Assessment[]
The opposite of relentless Weapon Masters, Holy Sabers concentrate on protecting their allies. Phalanx II is great for surviving bosses' special attacks, and thanks to Aegis Boon, Holy Sabers can dish out some really impressive damage with Drive Burst III. Cover only works for single-target attacks (including special attacks), and again due to Aegis Boon, Holy Sabers receive 50% less damage when using Cover. It is possible to stack Damage Reduction buffs so that the party becomes literally invincible (attacks will be shown simply as "Miss"), but bear in mind that different abilities stack differently. Reflection is rather useless and Testudo isn't much better. So save the ZPs and leave the EX Ability slot for something more useful like Rage III. Overall, Holy Saber is a somewhat situational job that can work well against some bosses, but it isn't exactly a job which many would rush to get.
